So before you commit to Far Cry 5, you may want to learn more about it first. However, there are a lot of great co-op games out there to play. While the title is fun to play alone, it's even more enjoyable to have a friend by your side for your adventure. And it is a welcome addition, as it's a fantastic open-world action game. Updated AugBy Ben Jessey: Far Cry 5 has recently been added to Xbox Game Pass. Still, Far Cry 5's multiplayer can be quite chaotic as well (that's the trademark) so it pays to know what you're getting into before you purchase the game for that aspect of gameplay. Hence, there's more fun to be had in Far Cry 5 while you wage war against cult zealots who have nothing better to do than huff hallucinogenic flowers while land-grabbing. It's a welcome addition after the feature's absence in the preceding game, Far Cry Primal. While Ubisoft does a great job of making Hope County's citizens believable and relatable, they're not as helpful or as chaotic as your actual friends. PS5 Game Boost: All Major PS4 Game Improvements More Games Will Be Removed from PS Plus Extra in April Yeah FC5 on my XOX was only 30fps, but oh my god did it look good on my big HDR OLED TV rather than stuttering at 1440p on my 300nit IPS panel with grey blacks. Especially once the Pro/X came out during the last gen. That's why I started buying everything on my consoles. You couldn't spend £900 on a GPU and god knows how much else on your CPU and fast RAM, and expect to just install a game and be playing the console version at double the frame. I spent more time Googling stutter fixes that NEVER work, or Googling optimised settings to try and get a decent frame-rate than I did playing. Games like AC Odyssey required a massively over-powered PC to achieve a similar resolution and perceived detail level to the console versions, and deliver the magical 60fps. Suppose the first I noticed it would be Unity or Watchdogs stuttering and unplayable, despite having top of the range GPU's during that period. Ubisoft games have in my experience always been atrocious on PC. Just to throw my hat into the PC arguments. Especially after the dumpster fire that was Cyberpunk which I think I had recently played and felt ripped off by as well. I was having the typical ubisoft "squirrel!" like distraction fun playing around in the sandbox even with the freezing, but it got to the point where i just had to say F this, considering I had just bought this shiny a few months old ps5, and it didn't sit well to see it freezing up playing a last gen game. As I remember at the time, after a few weeks of research and seeing the responses on ubisoft's end, feeling like i had just been ripped off. It's debatable whether or not that's a software or hardware maker responsibility to test and fix, but I DO think it must be fixed, otherwise it should not be for sale as playable on the ps5. I do wonder if in this case though, perhaps it was hardware related in the sense of it having backward compatibility issues. Thu 16th Mar lol yah that's about the same response they were giving people regarding the freezing issue.
